The duo Benedikte Esperi & Cha Blasco explore the rules of how impulses lead them through an uninterrupted improvisation. In stripped-down scenic design, the architecture of the rooms becomes an important component and a prerequisite for sensitivity and curiosity. Scenic form is improvisation – instant composition – where momentum arises in encounters between choreography, sound, music and site.
The project explores the possibility of eliminating clichés, gender stereotypical representations and commercialization of bodies. The deviant and peculiar may take place and constitute the norm without being exotified or seen as the other.
